Regional Information

Rancho Valmora is located in northern New Mexico, approximately 85 miles northeast of Santa Fe and approximately 20 miles north of Las Vegas. Air travel to New Mexico is generally to Albuquerque, which is located about 150 miles south of Valmora via Interstate 25. Some flights are available directly from Santa Fe, which also is located adjacent to I-25. Valmora is located on the front range of the Sangre de Christo Mountains at an elevation of approximately 5,500 ft. The area receives over 300 days per year of sunshine and has mild summers due to its relatively high altitude.
